comprehensive scholarly paper
For the Final Project, you are developing an integrative review of the literature you’ve found about the clinical issue/problem you selected for your Milestone One assignment.
The purpose of an integrative review is to prepare a scholarly paper in order to make evidence-based practice recommendations for a practice change.
Although you can use some content from several of your milestone assignments, the Final Project is not a compilation of these assignments (do not copy and paste your Milestones into the Final Project).
The Final Project is a comprehensive scholarly paper in which you will demonstrate mastery of the course outcomes.
As you work on your Final Project this week, be sure that you reference the “NUR 440 Final Project Guidelines and Rubric”, following the prompts to ensure you capture all the required critical elements.
I encourage you to use the keywords from the rubric in your paper to ensure coverage of each critical element, for example: “gaps”, “similarities”, “state of the science”, “chain of evidence”, “inclusion criteria”, “exclusion criteria”, “quality”, “practice recommendations”, “limitations”, “gaps”, etc.
I’ve found in teaching this course that in order to sufficiently cover all the critical elements, students need to aim for 12 pages of content (not including the abstract, reference list, and appendices). If you have significantly less than 12 pages of content, chances are you’ve not adequately covered all the critical elements in the rubric
