As we have already completed invention exercises, which will be the basis of your lighting talk as you work towards your short topic proposal. A lighting talk is very short presentation about the essence of your ideas and your motivations for pursuing this topic.
 
Instructions
 

Complete the “Finding Your Topic: Invention” and “PRACTICE IT: Your Interest Web” assignments and review the feedback.
 
Compose a lightning talk about your research topic ideas. You should prepare notes to be practice   consider the following questions:
 

1. What are your core topic ideas?
 
2. Why do you want to pursue this topic?
 
3. What knowledge and/or interests are you drawing on to pursue this topic?
