Evaluating Data Sets
Evaluate the data sets available under the Energy section within data.gov and determine which ones are directly related to the stated goal. (Note: Refer to the Course Project Overview for more information on finding data at data.gov) In a 2-3 page submission, address the following:
- What data sets did you choose to evaluate? Provide as much detail on the fields, information, time period, etc.
- Is the data related to the questions your study must address?
- Will the data allow you to answer the following:
- Which metrics are best for understanding the nature of the problem?
- How does geography and seasonality affect energy consumption?
- Have advancements in technology reduced energy consumption?
